A Taste of Arlington
A Taste of Arlington is a yearly celebration of the restaurants located in Arlington. You will enjoy a tasting from each of the participating restaurants and vote for your favorites. There is also a silent auction to participate in. Proceeds benefit the Arlington Chamber of Commerce.
Arlington in April
Held the last Saturday in April, Arlington in April is the city’s spring arts and crafts festival. The festival brings in thousands of people to the historic square in Arlington to peruse the goods sold at the many booths set up by local vendors.
The Arlington 5k run raises money for the Arlington Education Foundation and is put on by the Arlington Chamber of Commerce. The Foundation helps to fund educational opportunities in Arlington Community Schools that are not supported by regular school budgets. The annual 5k is usually held in early fall.
The Arlington Bar-B-Q Fallfest has been a tradition in Arlington for over 20 years. It features three MBN Pro categories (Whole Hog, Pulled Pork, and Ribs) and ten Anything But categories. It is a Memphis Barbecue Network sanctioned contest. The Bar-B-Q Fallfest is a family friendly event, featuring activities for children, live entertainment, numerous vendors, and more.
